Today i found out that we have wireless at the clinic! im pretty stoked...
For those that dont know my mum and i are down here because she is getting treatment for her cancer...She has Stage 4 breast cancer, cancer in the liver, spine, and brain. It sounds bad, and it is, but we are taking it one step at a time and are very optimistic. Dr. Vargus is very nice, and very informative. He doesnt hide things about your condition or treatment. He calls every night to check on his patiants, asks if they need anything, how they are feeling, and so on. He uses very good analiges to help explain things. Mum is feeling fairly good today, she is tired alot and her back is hurting her alot(idk why). We are staying Hotel Lucerna which is nice, it is only a block or two from the clinic. Mark let me take his laptop, which is what i am writing to you from. I have been eating alot of tacos, mmm! i even tried some pig intestine the other day. it wasnt to bad tasting, but the thought was kinda ew. Yesterday i was playing age of empires and i heard chantting, i thot it was coming from the game at first but then i realised it was coming fom out side! so i grabbed my sony handycam (thank goodness it is so handy) and ran down stairs to see what was up. there was a protest/demonstration of a hundreds of ppl down the street. they were protesting import fees on vehicals. the government is almost trippling the cost of a car if you bring it from the US because they want more ppl to buy mexican made vehicals...anyway, i got a bunch of fotage in the crowd and marching and stuff...i felt like tim or ian cuz i was all camera man ish...lol..
